A 19 year old man from Ashton-under-Lyme accused of killing his sister at a holiday park in North Wales will go on trial next year.

Police were called to reports of a domestic disturbance at a caravan park in Towyn near Abergele on Saturday afternoon.

Amanda Selby, who was 15, was found dead inside one of the caravans there; it’s not been revealed yet how she died.

Her brother Matthew Selby was arrested at the site and has today appeared at Mold Crown Court via video link to be charged with her murder.

The hearing lasted about 15 minutes with him speaking only to confirm his name.

The judge has set a provisional trial date for February 28 with the trial expected to last between five and seven days.
