Teenage boy hospitalised after incident at Porthcawl Caravan Park
South Wales Police say a second boy, 14, is assisting officers

Police are investigating an incident at a Porthcawl caravan park, that left a teenage boy needing hospital treatment.
At around 8.15pm last night (9th August), a 14-year-old boy was found unconscious and with serious facial injuries in Trecco Bay caravan park.
He was taken to the Princess of Wales Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
A second 14-year-old boy was arrested following the incident, which occurred near a table tennis play area.
A spokesperson for Trecco Bay Holiday Park said: "There has been an incident at the park and our team are assisting the police.
"As this is a police matter, we are unable to share any further information.”
South Wales Police officers are now appealing for anyone with information that could help them establish exactly what happened.
Chief Inspector Geraint White, said: "While this appears to be an isolated incident, as always we would remind people of the dangers of pranks currently being promoted through social media platforms.
"In particular we ask parents to speak to their children and highlight that such behaviour could result in serious or life-threatening injuries."
