Pedestrian Killed in HGV Collision
Police appeal for witnesses after early morning incident
A pedestrian's died after colliding with a heavy good vehicle in Tonyrefail early this morning (Sunday, Feb 13).
The 35-year-old man, from Pentre, was declared dead at the scene.
It happened shortly after 3am between the Coed Ely and Tonyrefail roundabouts.
Collision investigation officers remain at the scene and the road is likely to remain closed in both directions for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
