Three arrests in search for missing teenager

Detectives investigating the whereabouts of 18 year old Frantisek “Frankie” Morris, from Llandegfan on Anglesey have arrested three people.

One man’s been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving while another man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

The last confirmed sighting of him was near the Vaynol Arms in Pentie at 1.22pm on Sunday 2nd of May. Frankie had been at a rave in Waunfawr and was pushing a bike and wearing a grey t-shirt and blue shorts.

North Wales Police have now released images of several cars in the hope that the drivers could hold vital information about the investigation.

Chief Inspector of North Wales Police Owain Llewelyn said:

“After our appeal earlier today, I can confirm we have spoken to the cyclist in the CCTV images and they are no longer part of our investigation.

“I would now like to make a further appeal to the drivers of the cars to come forward, as they may hold vital information which will assist us with our enquiries.

“Due to the ongoing investigation, the road from Pont Felin, Pentir heading towards Waen Wen will be closed until further notice. Motorists and the public are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes."
