Three arrested after Caerphilly town centre stabbing

A 32 year old man is in hospital in Cardiff with life-threatening injuries

A woman also suffered head injuries in the incident outside the Castle Court shopping centre

Three people are being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Caerphilly town centre in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The 32 year old was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff where he's said to have life-threatening injuries.

A 29 year old woman also suffered head injuries.

The incident happened outside Castle Court shopping centre in Caerphilly at around 1.25am on Saturday.

A 27 year old man, and a boy and girl - both aged 17 - remain in police custody.

Gwent Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area between 1.00am - 1.30am, or those who have information that could help our ongoing investigation.
