Transport for Wales: "Plan ahead" for travel on match and event days

Transport for Wales is urging passengers to "plan ahead" if they're looking to use its services on event days.
It's after recent photos on social media showed crowded carriages on match days.
The operator says it's seen "exceptionally high" demand on its services, with people travelling to watch major football and rugby matches.
Officials say they are working hard to meet the increased demand, with all serviceable trains in use on event days.
They've asked passengers to plan ahead, check capacity before travelling, and wear a face covering (unless exempt).
In responses on social media, the operator also confirmed new trains are being built to help tackle the issue in the long term.
In a statement to Greatest Hits Radio, a spokesperson for Transport for Wales said: “Demand for our services has been exceptionally high over recent weeks with tens of thousands of people travelling on the Wales and borders network to attend major rugby and football matches and other organised events.
“We understand passengers’ frustrations when services are very busy and we are working hard to meet the high levels of demand. All serviceable trains are put into use on event days, and where possible, we strengthen services on our most popular routes. Other operators serving Cardiff do the same.
“It’s vital people plan ahead, check the latest timetables before setting out and use our Capacity Checker tool to see which services are likely to be busy and always follow our travel safer advice. This includes wearing a face covering (unless exempt), respect our colleagues and other passengers, and cleaning your hands regularly.”
