Taylor Swift tickets for Cardiff go on sale
The pop icon will perform her first Welsh show in over 5 years at the Principality Stadium next June.
Thousands of fans will be fighting for tickets today as tickets to see Taylor Swift play in Cardiff next year go on sale.
It could be the last chance for fans to get tickets at their face value price, as tickets sold at last week's presale are already reselling for up to £3000.
To try and reduce the demand on ticketing websites, tickets for the Eras Tour have been released in stages. First there was a presale that fans needed to sign up for through Taylor Swift's website last year. This was a highly praised move as it reduced the number of bots scooping up tickets to resell at a higher price.
Today's sale is open to 'verified fans' only. When the tour was announced last month, ticketing sites told fans to register their interest in shows they wanted to attend. From there, 'verified' fans were given codes to access today's sale.
If there are any tickets left from today's sale, there will be a general sale open to everybody. However, ticket sites have already warned that, due to high demand, this is unlikely.
Marie Quemerais is from Cardiff and managed to get tickets in last week's presale. She told us that the process to get tickets was very stressful.
'There was a lot of stress and apprehension.
'There is only one Cardiff date as well so there was a lot of wondering whether we would actually be able to get tickets.'
She also told us she is already preparing for the show, getting her outfit ready and practicing all the lyrics.
'It's in almost a year so there is a lot of time but I'm going to have to think about outfits and travel and start getting really excited, double checking and making sure I know all the songs by heart'.
