60 year-old, Philip Booth has been given a 10 month suspended prison sentence, community service and a £10,000 fine after he pleaded guilty to four counts of failing to report an accident at his trampoline park.

Four children suffered serious injury and some were hospitalised at SupaJump in Trident Trade Park, Cardiff between February 2018 and 2019.

The children, two aged 3, and the others aged 9 and 11, suffered broken bones at the park.

Booth failed to report the injuries and the court found he had not done enough to ensure people weren't exposed to health and safety risks while using play equipment.

Judge Matthew Porter-Bryant told Booth he had "a desire to put profit ahead of safety".

Booth pleaded guilty on all counts last September and was in Crown Court today (19th June) to hear his sentence.
