STORM BARRA: Updates as Llanelli school has roof partly ripped off by strong winds
Flood warnings have decreased despite the extreme weather

A Carmarthenshire school is closed today after the roof was partly ripped off by strong winds caused by Storm Barra yesterday afternoon.
The majority of students had already left Bryngwyn School in Llanelli before the damage was caused, and everyone got out safely.
Following the damage to the building, Bryngwyn School put out a comment on twitter which said:
"High winds have caused damage to part of the roof at Ysgol Bryngwyn in Llanelli...".
"Most pupils had already left the school premises at the end of their school day - nobody was injured and all those still on site were evacuated calmly."
Elsewhere in Wales, heavy rain and extreme winds carried on overnight in the country, with a new road closure being placed on Cemetary Road in Abercarn.
Gales of up to 86mph were also recorded at Aberdaron in Gwynedd yesterday.
Porthcawl RNLI asked people to "exercise extreme caution, and avoid exposed cliffs, seafronts and piers".
However, Natural Resources Wales have removed a number of flood warnings, with flooding now only expected in two places.
Immediate action is advised for those living near the River Severn at Abermule and Fron as well as Aberbechan.
Clean-up operations will be needed across Wales with fallen debris, trees uprooted, rubbish blown across roads.
There are now only two flood warnings and nine alerts in place in the country - 18 warnings have been removed in the last 24 hours.
