Met Office issues snow warning affecting parts of Wales

Motorists urged to take care on the roads

Part of Wales have woken up to a warning for snow and ice this morning.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning which covers some border areas in the south.

It is due to remain in force until 10.00am

The warning states: "A brief spell of snow leading to tricky driving conditions in a few places.

"Some roads and railways are likely to be affected, with longer journey times expected."

The warning covers an area from Bristol in the south, up to the edge of Birmingham, with parts of Wales also included.
