An inquest has heard that six people were travelling in a car that crashed into a bus, which left three people dead.

Jesse Owen, 18, Callum Griffiths, 19, and Morgan Smith, 18, all died due to blunt injuries at the scene.

Jesse Owen is thought to have been driving the Audi A1 as the 6 people were travelling back from a funeral.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Coedely, Rhondda Cynon Taf, at around 7pm on the 11th of December.

Two other people were taken to hospital, where their injuries were described as life-threatening.

Coroner Graeme Hughes of Pontypridd Coroner's adjourned the inquest until next year due to the complex nature of the investigation.
