The Scarlets are to hold a service of remembrance for Llanelli, Wales and Lions legend Phil Bennett who passed away last weekend, age 73.

It'll take place at the Parc Y Scarlets stadium in Llanelli at 11am on Friday morning, doors open at 0930.

People are being urged to wear rugby jerseys in honour of his legacy.

Phil Bennett - who is often regarded as one of Wales best ever rugby players - died on Sunday after a long illness.
