South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Llantwit Major over the weekend.
It happened at about 10.30 on Saturday night, with the victim taken to hospital for his injuries - but he's since been released.
Investigations continue and anyone with information is urged to get in touch with the force.
In a statement on their Facebook page, South Wales Police said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault which occurred around 10:30pm yesterday evening Saturday 26th August on Bedford Rise, Llantwit Major.
"The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries but has since been released from hospital. Officers are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for anyone with information relating to this incident to please contact us and quote 2300287957."
