A number of schools in Cardiff have been forced to close because they are without water.

Welsh Water say they're dealing with a burst water main in the Llanederyn area and that people in the CF3 and CF23 post codes may have low water pressure or no water at all.

Cardiff Council say Llanedeyrn Primary, Glan Yr Afon, Bryn Hafod, St Bernadettes, Hollies, Pen Y Groes, Bryn Celyn and Berllan Deg schools are closed today.

St Teilo’s Church in Wales School is also shut.

Welsh Water is advising there's a bottled water station available at Eastern Leisure centre for those who need it and it's hoped supplies will be restored by Monday evening.
