Natural Resources Wales says it'll continue to monitor river levels after parts of south Wales were hit by flooding.

Some areas saw a month's worth of rain fall within 24 hours.

Dyfed Powys Police and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service helped to evacuate people in Newcastle Emlyn in Carmarthenshire on Saturday following concerns over the level of the river Teifi.

The River Usk at Crickhowell and Brecon burst its banks as did the River Towy in Carmarthen.

It's understood some roads may still be impassible today and into the new week with public transport affected.
