11 years on - South Wales Police have released new photos of a man wanted in connection with the murder of 17 year old Aamir Siddiqi in Cardiff.

The teenager was killed at his home in Roath in front of his parents while waiting for his Quran teacher on the afternoon of Sunday April 11th 2010.

Police describe 42 year Mohammed Ali Ege as 'Wales most wanted man'.

He fled to India before he could be arrested in connection with the death of 17 year old.

He was found and taken into custody in 2013 but in 2017 while awaiting extradition - he escaped and his whereabouts still remain unknown.

Two men are currently serving life sentences after they were convicted for Aamir's murder at Swansea Crown Court in 2013.

Detectives leading the hunt have released new images of Ege which were taken following his arrest in India in 2013 in the hope it will lead to any recent sightings being reported to police.

We continue to work with the National Crime Agency and international law enforcement agencies to trace the Ege and return him to the UK.

Aamir's family continue to be updated and supported by specially-trained family liaison officers.

We urge anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mohammed Ali Ege to get in touch.
