Murder investigation launched in Cardiff
It follows the death of a 45 year old woman
Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman in Cardiff.
Officers were called to Caerphilly Road at 12.40am, where a 45 year old woman was found dead.
A 44-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and has been taken to Cardiff Bay police station for questioning.
A crime scene is in place and enquiries continue.
