Motorcyclist dies after crash with car in Powys

Police say the man died at the scene

A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a car in Powys.

Emergency services say they were called to the A483 between Llanbister and Llanbadarn Fynydd at around 12.45pm yesterday, after receiving reports of a collision involving an orange KTM bike and a car.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation has now been launched by Dyfed-Powys Police.

In a statement the force said: "Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation, particularly anyone who saw the vehicles before the collision, or has dashcam of the vehicles, is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, either through a direct message on social media, online at: https://bit.ly/DPPContactOnline, by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.police.uk, or by calling 101."
