Concern for welfare of man missing in Rhondda since Tuesday

Police launch an appeal for information

Search teams are continuing to look for a man reported missing in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Martin Clatworthy, 57, was last seen in the Blaencwm area on Tuesday morning.

There is concern for his welfare following the recent freezing conditions.

On Friday, South Wales Police launched a fresh appeal for information on his whereabouts.

A/Inspector Anthony Watts said: “Martin, aged 57, was last seen in the Blaencwm area of Rhondda Cynon Taf at around 11am on Tuesday, March 7, and there is concern for his welfare.

“He has links to Cardiff and Merthyr, is 5ft 7”, has brown eyes and short, dark hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a black fleece.

“Anyone who may have seen Martin, or who has information which will help us find him, is asked to contact us quoting occurrence number 2300075324.”
