Man admits murder of teenager in Pembroke
The body of 18 year old Lily Sullivan was found in the Mill Pond area in December
A man has admitted the murder of an 18 year old girl in Pembrokeshire.
Lily Sullivan's body was found in the Mill Pond area of Pembroke in the early hours of Friday December 17th 2021.
The teenager had been on a night out in the town with friends.
31 year old Lewis Haines from Lamphey, Pembrokeshire was due to stand trial for her murder next week - having previously pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter - but at a hearing at Swansea Crown Court on Monday morning he changed his plea to guilty.
He will now be sentenced on July 7th.
