Lockdown restrictions will remain in place in Wales for another three weeks.

While cases of Covid 19 are at their lowest since September - First Minister Mark Drakeford is expected to say in his lunchtime briefing that it's still too soon to relax measures.

The Welsh Government says it's hopeful that by keeping the 'stay at home restrictions' in place for a bit longer cases will be low enough to allow older primary school children and some secondary pupils to go back to school from March 15th.

It's already been announced that those aged 3 to 7 will return to the classroom from next week.

We're also expecting to hear more detail on the so called 'roadmap' out of lockdown including when we might see non essential retail opening back up again.
