Royal couple visit Cardiff and meet crowds of well wishers
Charles has been on his first visit to Wales as monarch.
He arrived, with the Queen Consort, in Cardiff to cheers, handshakes and flowers from well-wishers before attending a special service of reflection for his late-mother.
They were at a memorial service for Queen Elizabeth at Llandaff Cathedral.
Archbishop of Wales Andy John said her knowledge of world events and the length of her reign gave her an unmatched perspective.
The couple also visited the Welsh Parliament.
King Charles has paid tribute to the Queen's commitment to Wales.
He told members of the Welsh Parliament the country "could not be closer to my mother's heart".
The King also held a private audience with the First Minister at Cardiff Castle.
Earlier Mark Drakeford praised Her Majesty's devotion to Wales and its people during a speech at the Senedd.
The King left Cardiff to travel to London where he was to stand vigil by his mum's coffin, along with his siblings at a quarter to 8 tonight (September 16).
