Robert Page says the experience of the Wales squad at Euro 2020 will make them better in the future.
The Wales interim boss said they are hurt but proud of what they achieved in the tournament:
"We're disappointed because of the manner in which the game went, of course. Nobody wants to go out of the tournament like that, but we'll learn from it. We're not going to lick our wounds for too long, we're going to bounce back and be better for having gone through this experience."
Their run at the tournament ended at the last-16 stage with a 4-nil defeat to Denmark in Amsterdam.
Wales will now look forward to September's World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Estonia.
Kasper Dolberg scored in each half at the Johan Cruyff Arena, while Joakim Maehle and Martin Braithwaite also got in on the act late on.
Page says his young squad will improve with more game time:
We need to get our players out playing football, week in week out, that doesn't half help. You look at their team and what they've got and where their playing and I'd like to put the minutes our team have played against theirs, and any team in this tournament, and I think you'll find there's a big difference."
Captain Gareth Bale was not drawn to answering questions over his immediate future in the game following Wales' exit from Euro 2020 after a 4-0 defeat to Denmark in Amsterdam.
Commiserations too from First Minister Mark Drakeford, who Tweeted:
"It just wasn't our day today. Regardless, you've made the whole of Wales so proud. Bring on the World Cup!"
