Rail commuters across South Wales are being warned they face severe disruption over the next two days.

Train drivers at Great Western Railway walk out in a row over pay. The company's warning, in many places, there will be no service at all.

James Davis, spokesperson at GWR, told us: "Check the specific details of your journey especially if you're travelling further afield because you may be affected by other strike action taking place across other operators.

"Clearly any strike action has a significant impact on customer confidence on our services and some people will be put off travelling full stop.

"Industrial action will have a significant impact on our ability to run train services. Some parts of our network will have no service at all."

Transport for Wales are not affected by industrial action - and their services are expected to run as normal.
