Gusts of up to 70mph expected to hit Wales
A yellow weather warning is in place until Wednesday night
We are being warned of more rain and high winds across south Wales through Wednesday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for gusty conditions and says there could be potential travel disruption with winds of up to 70 miles per hour.
The RNLI is urging people to take care along the Welsh coast with large waves likely and wet conditions leaving surfaces slippery.
RNLI Water Safety Manager, Ross Macleod said: "Conditions underfoot can be slippy and it can be easy to be caught out by unexpected waves close to the coast so please stay well back.
"Keep an eye on weather conditions and check the tide times daily particularly if you're out for a walk and understand where your escape routes are should the tide come in".
Forecasters say the weather warning will run from 0600 on Wednesday until 20:00 tonight.
It will remain unsettled into the end of the week with sunshine and heavy showers for many on Thursday and persistent rain in the south on Friday.
