Gatland: Wales not clinical enough to take chances against Scotland
Wales have lost both of their Six Nations games so far
Wales have chalked up back to back defeats in the Six Nations - losing both their opener against Ireland and against Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.
Head coach Warren Gatland saw his perfect record over the Scots go as his side were beaten 35-7.
The New Zealander had never lost to them in his previous spell in charge, winning all eleven of their meetings.
Gatland says they were "beaten by the better team" and need to "have a good hard look" at themselves.
Wales will face England next at the Principality Stadium a week on Saturday.
Wales head coach Warren Gatland admitted his side "are in a bit of a hole at the moment" as he lamented a second heavy defeat in consecutive matches following last weekend's 34-10 loss at home to Ireland.
"We've given away 17 penalties in the game which is not acceptable at this level, and we've created opportunities and haven't been clinical enough to take them," he said.
"It is pretty disappointing because we could have gone in at half-time ahead and once they took their opportunities well we ended up chasing the game."
