A fundraiser has been launched to pay for the funerals of the four Shrewsbury boys who lost their lives in a crash in North Wales.

Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Fitchett and Hugo Morris were found in a silver Ford Fiesta on Tuesday - after it came off the road in Gwynedd.

The four occupants of the car were all pronounced dead at the scene.

North Wales Police are calling on drivers who drove along the road where they died to come forward.

They're making an appeal for dashcam footage - as they try and establish what caused what they suspect was a 'tragic accident'.

The fundraiser has been set up by 18-year-old Matthew Richards who was close friends with Hugo Morris and went to school with the teen for 11 years.

He was hoping to raise four thousand pounds - which would be split by the families of those who lost loved ones in the accident.

Currently, the pot stands at nearly 6 thousand pounds - put together by over 450 people that donated.

Matthew Richards tells us:

"We wanted to set the fundraiser up because I was a good friend of Hugo's, going to school with him for 11 years.

"I just wanted to show my support for the families and help in any way I could - it's really devastated the local community.

"It's not easy losing a child anyway, then trying to find the money for the funeral and all the other costs, it's not cheap.

"With the cost of living going up and everything going up, we just wanted to help as much as possible."
