Four arrested after drugs raids
2 men and 2 women arrested after searches in Maesteg, Caerau and Sandfields
Four people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after police raids at a number of addresses yesterday.
Officers carried out raids at addresses in Caerau, Maesteg and Sandfields.
A 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested in Caerau on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class-A controlled drugs.
A man and a woman, both aged 36, were arrested in Sandfields for the same offence.
Maesteg Inspector Melanie Knight, said:
“A number of addresses were searched and arrests made as part of our ongoing commitment to tackling drug supply in Maesteg.
“As always, we are grateful to our communities for their patience and support while officers carried out the warrants and arrests.
“We encourage anyone whose lives are blighted by illegal activities in their community, to report their concerns and suspicions.
“Enforcement activity like that seen today shows that we act on the information provided to us, and we will be relentless in targeting those involved in the supply of drugs.”
