Former Wales internationals Melissa Howley and Caryl Thomas have smashed their target of £1000 - raising money for a terminally ill Swansea boy who passed away following a 19 month battle with cancer.

On Wednesday, Morgan's family issued the heart-breaking update that the three year old had passed away at the Ty Hafan children's hospice earlier that morning.

Melissa and Caryl has planned the endurance challenge for that day and - despite the tragic news - decided to go ahead in Morgan's honour and memory, raising money for Morgan's Army.

Both Melissa and Caryl have been kept up to date with how 3 year old Morgan had been doing via his aunt - fellow Wales international Natalia John - and wanted to something to help support the family.

Via their fundraising page, the pair wanted to raise £1000 but have now passed that target.

Just last weekend, 7000 vehicles took to the streets of Swansea as part of a special event to make Morgan smile and help his family make happy memories with him.
