First Minister calls for people not to 'exploit' small changes to lockdown rules
From today people can exercise outside with one person from another household.
Mark Drakeford is calling on people across Wales not to exploit the modest changes to the lockdown which come in from today.
Wales remains in alert level 4 but people are now able to exercise outdoors with one person from another household.
The First Minister says this isn't an excuse to push the rules saying we're just delaying being able to enjoy further freedoms if we don't behave as we should.
Mark Drakeford said: ""There will be some people who once they can do one thing, want to push that, want to lean on the rules, game the system.
"In the end, our conclusion was that, where we could, to make very minor easements but easements which can be very important to some people, we should do that.
"If you think this is an excuse to push the rules, to do more than is allowed, all you do is delay the day when we can lift other restrictions for us all.
"I've referred previously to small acts of selfishness, and it would be a small act of selfishness to try and exploit the very modest steps that we are able to provide today.
"When people do that, they let themselves down and they let other people down as well."
Current coronavirus rules still apply - you must stay local and keep at least 2m apart.
