FAW to boycott international fixtures against Russia

The FAW says Wales will not play any international fixtures against Russia for the foreseeable future, at any level of the game.

It says it condemns the use of force and the atrocities being committed by Russia in its invasion of Ukraine.

A statement goes on to say that the Football Association of Wales stands in solidarity with Ukraine and "feels an extreme amount of sadness and shock to the recent developments in the country".

The move from FAW follows a number of sporting bodies around the world who are also boycotting Russia.
