Investigation underway after serious collision involving car and bus in RCT

An investigation is underway after a serious crash in Rhondda Cynon Taf involving a car and a bus.
Emergency services were called to Coedely near Tonyrefail at around 7pm last night.
Police tell us they have been at the scene at Elwyn Street overnight.
Enquiries to establish what exactly happened are underway but we're told the serious collision involved a bus and a car.
In a social media post - South Wales Police asked the public not to speculate whilst enquiries get underway and said these are 'tragic circumstances' .
The force is appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened - or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
