E-scooter Woman Seriously Injured
Man arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving
A 25-year-old woman's suffered serious injuries after her e-scooter collided with a car in West Wales.
It happened on Pontamman Road in Ammanford at approximately 8:30pm on Tuesday, 8th February.
The collision involved a silver Volkswagen Jetta and an e-scooter.
The 34-year-old driver of the VW Jetta has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision. He remains in police custody.
The woman remains in hospital and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
