Cyclist found dead on grass verge in Velindre

Police are looking into how 47 year old Keith Allen came off his bike.

Witnesses or those with dashcam footage from Saturday night are asked to contact police

South Wales Police are looking into the death of a cyclist who came off his bike in Swansea.

47-year-old Keith Allen from Garnswllt had been riding on Heol Glyn Dyfal Road, Felindre and was found dead on the grass verge at the side of the road on Sunday.

An investigation is now looking at why he came off his bike.

Detective Sergeant David Connick said: "Our thoughts are with Keith’s family and friends at this time.

"Inquiries are ongoing to establish why he came off his bike, so we are keen to speak to anyone who may have been on that stretch of road between 8.30pm on Saturday 5th August and midnight on Sunday 6th August who may have information or dashcam footage that could assist our investigation.”
