Collision leads to A40 in Carmarthenshire closure

The A40 in Carmarthenshire has been closed in both directions since the early hours of this morning due to a crash.

The collision happened between the Llanllwch Turn Off and Valero Tenby Service Station.

Emergency services have been in attendance.

Dyfed Powys stated:

"We anticipate high volumes of traffic due to Easter Bank Holiday – please avoid this route as it is likely to remain closed until later this afternoon.

Access to the showground is possible from Carmarthen and officers are at B & Q roundabout providing direction."
