A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a delivery driver in Cardiff.

31 year old Christopher Elgifari, from Llanrumney, appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court earlier.

He'll stand trial on September 25 in Cardiff Crown Court.

54 year old Mark Lang, from Cyncoed, died in hospital on April 15th - more than two weeks after suffering serious injuries in the North Road area of Cardiff.

It's understood he was hit by his own white van whilst out delivering parcels.

In a tribute released by his partner - Mark Lang was described as a 'good man with a lot of love to give'.

Christopher Elgifari was initially facing an attempted murder charge - but following Mark Lang's death - he was then charged with murder.
