Man taken to hospital after stabbing in Cardiff
Police are investigating the incident in the Butetown area of the capital
A man is recovering after being stabbed in the Butetown area of Cardiff.
The 22 year old was taken to hospital following the incident at around 5.00pm last night.
His condition isn't thought to be life threatening.
Police are carrying out enquiries in the area.
Detective Inspector Tim Jones said:
“South Wales Police was called at around 5pm yesterday (Friday 27 January) to reports of an assault on West Close, Butetown.
“Officers attended and found a 22-year-old man had been stabbed.
“The victim was taken to hospital where his condition is believed to be not life threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the full circumstances of the incident.
