Cardiff man dies in M4 crash near Bridgend

A man has died after the van he was in collided with the central reservation on the M4 near Bridgend.
It happened westbound between Junction 36 for Sarn and 37 for Pyle at around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.
Police tell us he was a 44 year old man from Cardiff.
His family is being supported by specially trained officers.
The South Wales force has thanked the public for their patience and understanding as the road was closed for almost 8 hours - reopening at 10.30pm on Monday night.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
