Police Probe Fire at Suspected Cannabis Factory
Neighbouring properties had to be evacuated after fire spread
An investigation has started after a fire broke out at a property in Cardiff early this morning (December 20).
Police say it's thought the blaze started at the top of a house on North Road in Gabalfa at around 3.45am. Evidence of a cannabis factory was found.
Neighbouring properties were evacuated after the fire spread.
There are no reported injuries.
A cordon remains in place while the property is made safe and enquiries continue into the cause of the fire
