Woman charged with attempted murder

A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was attacked in Pontypridd.

45 year old Rayal Milne will appear at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court later.

Police responded to an incident at around 9.00am on Tuesday in the town centre, in a lane between Kwikfit and the probation service.

A 58-year-old man from Pentre remains hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to this case.
