Police were called to a house on Graig Road just before 1pm on Thursday June 26.
A 34-year-old man from Ynyshir has been arrested in connection with the death of 36-year-old Christian Dean and remains in police custody.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances behind the death.
