Arrest following Bute Park sex assault
Police are investigating an incident which happened on Sunday morning
Police in Cardiff are investigating a sexual assault in a city centre park.
A 27 year old man has been arrested in connection with the incident in Bute Park which happened around 0600 on Sunday morning.
He remains in police custody.
DI Abi Biddle said: “Detectives have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the incident and he remains in police custody.
“A scene is being held in the park and enquiries are continuing.
“We are appealing for witnesses or anybody with information to come forward and contact us."
