Police launch appeal for three men following assault in Risca

The force received reports of an assault on Thursday night (June 1), with a 35-year-old man taken to hospital with minor injuries

Gwent Police have launched an appeal for three men following reports of an assault.

They say the two 43-year-olds and 19-year-old could help with their enquiries following the incident in Risca.

In a statement, a spokesperson from Gwent Police said: "We’re appealing for information to find Gareth Davies and Dafydd Davies, both 43 from the Caerphilly area and Rahal Ibrahim, 19, from the Newport area.

Our officers would like to speak to them in connection with an investigation into a report of assault in Holly Road, Risca, at around 7pm on Thursday 1 June.

A 35-year-old man from Risca was taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been released."
