Sister Sledge's iconic song 'We Are Family' has had a modern-day makeover by Kim Sledge to help support the WHO Foundation, and is now available for download worldwide from leading digital music stores.

Speaking about the campaign Kim said, "From the doctors and nurses on the front lines, to the paramedics and police, from the midwives and scientists to the carers for the vulnerable, the We Are Family campaign will salute each and every one with a feeling of unity, strength and solidarity in response to the unprecedented challenges the world faces as a result of the coronavirus outbreak."

The upbeat cover of the song originally released 45 years ago, will generate proceeds which will benefit of the WHO Foundation to address the most pressing global health challenges of our time, such as Coronavirus.

And that's not all, the fantastic tune will be accompanied by a sing-along music video supported by singers such as Rita Ora, M People's Heather Small and Formula One hero Romain Grosjean.

You could also get involved with the sing-along video by downloading the track, then recording yourself singing to the Special Edition cover of We Are Family either alone, or with friends and family, whilst observing social distancing guidelines.

Then upload the video to your favourite social media platform using the following hashtags #WeAreFamily #COVID19 #HealthforAll and tagging @WHO, @The_WorldWeWant and @thewhof
