Fans were able to vote for their favourite TV shows, from game shows to soaps and everything in between for the TV Choice Awards 2022, and the results are now in. The award show took place on Monday 14th November at The London Hilton and was hosted by comedian and presenter Jo Brand.
This year, Greatest Hits Radio teamed up with the TV Choice Awards and it was the first time the ceremony has taken place in person since 2019, with the biggest names in TV coming together for the evening.
After winning Best Family Drama in 2021, Call The Midwife won the title again this year, with Jenny Agutter from the show also taking home an award and being named Best Actress. Meanwhile, the award for Best Soap Actress went to EastEnders' actress Gillian Wright who plays Jean Slater.
As for reality TV, there were wins for I'm A Celebrity, Gogglebox and Celebrity Gogglebox. This year also saw Strictly Come Dancing named the Best Talent Show for its previous series, beating Britain’s Got Talent, The Masked Singer and The Great British Bake Off for the title.
