Ray Crosby has been terrorising the residents in Coronation Street for months after getting planning permission to demolish the street to build a swanky new housing estate - despite everyone's best efforts to stop him.

But his methods have been less than scrupulous and this week his plan begins to unravel at the seams as his crimes threaten to be exposed.

With Faye Windass gaining the courage to finally report him to the police, is it all over for Ray?

Later on, a heartbroken Gail mentions to Nick that she's too old to slum it on a council estate. With his new family unit with Sam, will Nick invite her to move in with him?

Elsewhere, Faye hasn't been herself since the assault and, worried about his friend, Craig wants to get to the bottom of what's going on.

Finally Faye caves and tells Craig that Ray tried to rape her and she attacked Adam, thinking it was him, leaving Craig reeling.

Meanwhile, things aren't looking good for Ray who's been picked up by Mick and his muscle, making it clear he's got 24 hours to find the money to pay him back - or else.

But Ray is in an even bigger pickle than he initially thought after Susan, the Chairperson on the planning committee, demands £20k or she'll reveal he bribed her.

With Craig's support, Faye heads to the police station and reveals all, that she slept with Ray but that he later tried to rape her.

As Faye breaks down and admits she wishes she'd gone to the police in the first place, a furious Tim is convinced Craig forced her to turn herself in for a promotion.

At the Bistro, Debbie rails at Ray over using the money earmarked for numbers 4 and 6 to pay off his debts to Mick and Susan.

But Ray is insistent that he's got it all under control and is dismissive when Debbie demands he sign over the company to her. When the police arrive and arrest him on suspicion of attempted rape, Debbie is stunned.

Elsewhere, Yasmeen is trying to settle back into normal life after her ordeal with Geoff, making herself comfortable in her home again - despite previously selling up.

But Yasmeen insists she's staying put until Ray comes up with the cash for the house, and Alya is thrilled to see a spark of her old nan back.

Later on, Abi, Alya and Faye cross paths on the street and when they see Ray leaving the bistro, they are disappointed to realise he's been released from police custody.

Alya offers to come forward with her story about Ray cornering her at the hotel to support Faye's case and Abi reveals she's gathered her own evidence against him.

Over at The Rovers, Abi arranges a meeting with Ray and tells him she's got a recording of him admitting to bribing the committee.

A worried Ray begs Abi to delete the footage in exchange for him coming clean about what he did to Faye. But when Abi suddenly falls violently ill, have they missed their chance?

Despite her best efforts, Yasmeen is struggling to settle back into normal life. On a socially distanced dog walk, Eileen suggests she indulge in all the things Geoff hated her doing, as a kind of therapy.

Elsewhere, Michael meets up with Grace who tells him that after the year she and Tianna have, she's decided to move them both to Hull.

A desperate Michael begs Grace to reconsider as he can't bare to be apart from his children and before he knows it he's invited them to move in with him at number 3. How will his mum react?

Chesney's been steadily feeling the financial pressure after Sean reminds him that Gemma still owes him commission from the make-up sales.

When Kirk pipes up to say that Chesney also owes him money for the stolen make-up, Gemma and Chesney are horrified to realise the extent of their financial issues.

Later on, Gemma bumps into Sean on the street and tells him that there's no way she can afford to pay him back right now and she wants out.

Sean panics, wondering how he's going to pay Rhydian. After a call to Rhydian, Sean tells Gemma that if she doesn't find the money they'll both be sued.
