After Adam Barlow was attacked on Coronation Street, Faye Windass has been crippled under the weight of her sinister secret.

And when a police office arrives to question Tim Metcalfe about the rucksack found in Gary Windass' possession, the cogs start turning and Tim confronts Faye.

Will she come clean?

Dan and Ken are desperate to help Peter

Elsewhere, Ken Barlow and Daniel Osbourne are desperate to help Peter Barlow in any way they can and have a proposition for him.

But with Peter in self-destruct mode, how will he react?

Asha and Aadi Alahan are disappointed by their dads 'big surprise' for their 16th birthday and it looks as though things are ruined until Nina Lucas presents her gift, and Jenny Connor wants to postpone Johnny Connor's trial.

CHECK OUT: Corrie Monday 11 - Friday 15 January

Simon returns to Weatherfield after spending time in Scotland over the New Year and insists he hasn't touched a drop of booze while he's been away.

Determined to get Peter to see what his life is worth, Daniel reveals he wants to act as his liver donor. But an overwhelmed Peter insists he isn't worthy of a transplant.

After trying and failing to get Peter to reconsider Daniel's offer, Adam enlists Carla to try and convince him to change his mind.

But a stubborn Peter simply takes a bottle from the bar and defiantly swigs it, adamant that it's his life and he'll die on his own terms.

Jenny is at her wits end and tells Peter that living above the pub clearly isn't helping him. Dismissing Ken's offer of his old room, a drunken Peter slumps to the ground in the ginnel.

Elsewhere, Asha is upset when she suggests to Corey that they do something special for her birthday and he makes it clear he's only interested in sex.

Hopeful that Dev's birthday present to her and Aadi will cheer her up, the twins can't hide their disappointment when it turns out he's just added their initials to the shop sign.

Back at home Asha confides in Nina about her rubbish birthday and is thrilled when Nina presents her with a choker just like hers.

But when Asha happily debuts Nina's gift on a date with Corey she's dismayed when he demands she take it off as it'd look better on a dog. Yasmeen can't help but catch the exchange.

Meanwhile, Aadi is taking his new management role very seriously and Dev is pleased to see him get stuck into his new responsibilites.

Arriving at Primer Doner, Aadi tells Bernie and Cathy that he's there to conduct their reviews and the two women exchange looks.

A distraught Faye calls at Maria's flat and tells her that the guilt of what she did is making her ill and she wants to own up to her crime.

Maria does her best to be sympathetic and when Gary later calls her from prison, she explains how much Faye is struggling. But what has she done?

After standing up Kelly on their date Simon feels awkward when she suggests doing something else and he's forced to make excuses again.

Back at the flat, Simon tries to encourage Leanne to eat but feels helpless. Worried about Simon, Nick lets himself in but is shocked to see Leanne there too.

A floundering Leanne lies to Nick, insisting she's only just arrived back from France, and when Nick leaves Simon implores her to see that it's not only her who's struggling.

Elsewhere, Jenny goes to visit Johnny in prison ahead of his hearing and is worried to realise that his eyesight is deteriorating.

A hopeful Jenny suggests to Imran they may be able to delay the trial because of it but is disheartened when Imran says it's not a serious enough health issue to warrant postponing.

A police officer calls at number 4 to question Tim about the rucksack found in Gary's possession, explaining it contained the weapon used to attack Adam.

A worried Tim later confides in Sally that he thinks Faye could be somehow involved as she hasn't been acting herself recently.

Tim goes to confront Faye and at first she denies all knowledge, but later she breaks down and admits that she might be pregnant with Ray's baby.

After learning that Ray tried to rape Faye and she later attacked Adam thinking it was him, Tim heads straight to the prison to see Gary.

Tim insists they've got all the evidence they need and that they must bring Ray down, but Gary insists him taking the wrap is the best thing for Faye.

But first, here's everything that happened over New Year on the street...

It was only a few weeks ago that Ray Crosby's plans to demolish the street were halted by the residents' collective efforts but it seems as though there's a traitor in their midsts as Dev Alahan has been in talks with the enemy.

After Dev is wined and dined by Ray over the potential sale of the Kabin, the rest of the locals stage a boycott of the shop.

Asha and Aadi aren't impressed with their birthday present

But will it be enough?

Elsewhere, Peter Barlow begs Daniel Osbourne not to tell anyone when he's rushed to hospital with suspected liver failure.

As Peter concedes his fate, how will Carla Connor and Ken Barlow react?

Debbie Webster is confused about why Gary Barlow pulled the sale of the factory but Ray is still refusing to tell her the truth, and Todd Grimshaw has well and truly got his claws into Billy Mahew and Paul Foreman's relationship.
