A woman's suffered puncture wounds to her body after what police are describing as a nasty attack in Poole.

The victim - who's in her 20's - was attacked outside the American vape Shop in Poole High Street, at around 7.20pm on the Sunday night before Christmas (21st December).

The wounds were found on the woman's chest, back and arm - she was also punched in the face.

Her injuries weren't life-threatening or life-changing, but she was taken to hospital.

Detectives have now released CCTV images of a man and woman they'd like to identify.

DC Matthew Putt, of BCP CID, said: “This was a nasty incident, which we are continuing to investigate and I am appealing to any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please get in touch with us.

“I have now obtained CCTV images of a man and a woman I would like to identify and while I appreciate that their faces are not clearly visible, I am hoping someone may recognise them from their clothing.

“I would ask anyone with information regarding their identities to please come forward.”
