Woman arrested after car hits school doors in Havant

The vehicle also crashed into a marked police car

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after the car she was in collided with the front doors of a school in Havant.

Officers were called to Bosmere Junior School in South Street at around 1pm last Tuesday (March 4th).

They said a blue Mazda involved then left the scene and drove down South Street, where it was involved in a minor collision with a marked police car.

No one was injured.

A 60 year-old woman from Havant was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving whilst unfit through drugs, assaulting an emergency worker and child neglect.

She has been bailed with conditions until 5 June whilst the investigation continues.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed these incidents, or has dashcam footage from the area at the time.
