A 70 year old woman's had to be airlifted to hospital with serious, life-changing injuries after a crash in Sherborne.
Dorset Police say it happened on Cheap Street just after midday on Thursday (19 June) and involved a pedestrian and a car.
Sgt Richard Stroud, of the Roads Policing Team, said, "This collision occurred in a busy street and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
"I would also like to appeal to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either dashcam or CCTV footage to please get in touch.
"Finally, I would like to thank the public for their patience while the road closure was in place as this allowed us to safely treat the injured woman and carry out a scene examination."
